I purchased my Luminess Air a little over 1 year ago. It is an expensive purchase to say the least. So, I thought I would be receiving a quality product. After all, they offered a warranty. The warranty is only for 1 year and unfortunately, it was about a year to the date of having the airbrush system that it stopped spraying the makeup. I never even used it that much. Only about once or twice a week at most and I cleaned it thoroughly every time I used it (which is also a pain when you’re running late and need to get out the door instead of cleaning a piece of equipment). I did enjoy the way my skin looked, but it was not that much better than my regular makeup. So, it is definitely not worth the investment!! Additionaly, the fact that you have to purchase something like this online vs. in a retail store (i.e. department stores, cosmetic stores, Sephora, etc., where you can’t experiment with the makeup and airbrush product should send up red flags. Not to mention the TV infomercials that claim the price is a fraction of what the whole price ends up costing you. VERY UNETHICAL! I do not recommend Luminess Air products in the least! They will take every opportunity to steal your money and give you an inferior product.
I purchased the trial luminous for 19.95. I was going to try it for an Easter program but since the pandemic hit and this program was cancelled I did not use luminous. It tried to return it 3 times but each time I called I would get a man I could nit understand and he would not give me the code I needed to send it back. When I finally did get the code I sent it back and the mailing cost was 15.65. Then a week later I was charged 43.94 but did not receive anything in the mail. I called the 1-888-793-7474 number and no one answered after 15 min. My phone went dead so I had to recharge it, I’m so frustrated about this. What is the problem with your customer service people. Do I need to get BBB involved?
